My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: The Anker Nebula Solar Portable Projector

Anker Nebula has been making some of the top portable projectors for years. One of the best mini portable projectors around is the Anker Nebula Solar Portable, which you can get right now for $249.99 (originally $459.99) after a 46% discount. Don't be deceived by the name; there is nothing solar about this projector, but it is very bright, can shoot 4K, and has many other features that make it stand out from other portable projectors.

The Anker Nebula Solar Portable was pricey when it came out in 2021, but for good reason. It was the only mini portable projector among respectable brands to be 4K-compatible and have a battery life of up to three hours, according to PCMag's "excellent" review. While the projector has a 1080p (1,920 by 1,080) native resolution, it connects at 4K (3,840 by 2,160) at up to 60Hz by default. You won't find other 4K mini portable projectors from respectable brands below $300, making this my favorite Amazon deal of the day.

The 400 ANSI lumens of brightness means you can watch your movies and shows in a moderate ambient light living room without the need to be in a pitch-dark room. (Of course, the darker you can get your room, the better the picture will look.) The Android TV 9 and wifi built-in lets you wirelessly stream/cast your media from your phone as long as you're in the same wifi, very similar to a Chromecast or AirPlay would. You also have the option to connect your media with HDMI or USB Type-A (but that one requires downloading ES File Explorer from Google Play).
