Oh come off it please. Of all the players to criticize for a lack of desire, he isn't one of them. He has among the highest distance covered in the squad per 90 for effs sake.
Players can't be in turbo mode all game every game. They often play with knocks or prior injuries which means they have to make judgment calls as to their current physical state in a game. No idea what random shit you're referring to, but if you see Laird not chase something back, 9 times out of 10 it is something along those lines versus a lack of desire.
But of course, you either aren't capable or don't want to think rationally. It's got to be the players! No effort! No desire!! Shame!!!
