IF you are always struggling to bag a bargain at the checkout, we’ve put together a list of Aldi’s best Specialbuys that are hitting shelves this week.
Whether you are sprucing the garden or looking after your growing family, there is something for everyone at the supermarket – including Bluey toys for just £6.99.
Solar Marrakesh Lantern (£9.99)
Summer might be a few months away yet but we are already dreaming about long, lazy days in the garden.
If you are hoping to make the most of your outdoor space this year, Aldi has endless accessories to choose from right now – including this Solar Marrakesh Lantern.
While you might not be able to get away, this stunning lamp will make you feel like you’ve been transported to warm climes with the stunning cut out design.
Even better, it comes in bronze or gold toned metal and can be hung up to add some ambience to your outdoor space.
You can also use it as a table top centrepiece for when you have guests round – not bad for a solar lantern that costs under a tenner.
Children’s Ride On Suitcase (£29.99)
If you are lucky enough to be jetting off this summer, you might also want to nab this adorable suitcase for kids during your weekly shop.
For anyone who is dreading spending hours waiting to board, this Lily & Dan item is perfect to keep your little ones entertained before you depart.

Fans of the Aussie kids’ cartoon will be excited this week, as exclusive Bluey merch is arriving at Aldi this week.
Arriving on shelves on Thursday (April 25), these cute cuddly toys are perfect for your little ones or grown-up fans of the show.
Made from ultra-soft fabric, these plushies are super cuddly with characters like Baby Bluey, Winton and Bingo available later this week.
You’ll have to be quick though as we reckon these toys will disappear from shelves almost instantly – just like the rest of the range.
WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.
For reduced items – when shops open
Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.
A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”
That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.
Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.
For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays
Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.
New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.
For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.
You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.
They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.
As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.
Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible
