Georg Jensen unveils new coloured editions of Fusion Ring

Georg Jensen has extended its Fusion collection with the launch of new coloured editions of the Fusion ring.

The Fusion collection made its debut in 2000 as Georg Jensen’s first jewellery collection exclusively crafted in 18kt gold.

The centrepiece of the collection is the Fusion ring, inspired by a 1987 creation by Nina Koppel, a celebrated Danish textile designer.

The ring features end and centre rings with a wavy contour that allows them to intricately interlock, creating countless individual combinations.

This spring the collection introduces an array of colourful new rings. Drawing inspiration from Nina Koppel’s textile designs, the coloured rings feature “rich” and “deep hues”, from blue to red, green and black.

The coloured material, a hybrid ceramic and polymer compound, undergoes a “meticulous” application process onto the end and centre rings in 18kt yellow and white gold.
