My microblading pen is the best thing ever – you won’t look like you put your brows on with a crayon, it’s so natural
A DIY makeup fan has shared the brow pen that makes microblading at home easy.
She raved about how natural and long-lasting the makeup application is.
Alyssa (@newenglandmomma) shared her brow results in a viral TikTok video.
“If you ladies want to wake up ready to go for the day with your brows, you need to get this,” she said.
She called the $25 TatBrow Microblade Eyebrow Pen the “best thing ever,” explaining that she applies it at night and sleeps with the product on.
Despite the overnight use, the pen doesn’t come off and when she wakes up in the morning, she’s ready to go.
Alyssa explained that the pen’s “spiky” applicator helps create natural-looking strokes.
“Your strokes don’t look like you’re putting it on with a crayon, it actually looks like hair strokes,” she said.
“I put some on my hand earlier and you can see each individual line so it actually looks like natural hair.”
To apply the product, Alyssa swiped the pen in an upward motion on clean brows, following her hairline.
After she finished, she wiped her brow with her finger.
Despite her tugging and rubbing, none of the product came off.
For beginners, she recommended using the pen at an angle for the best results.
“Try using it at a right angle to your eyebrows so it’s not slanted,” she wrote.
“That way only the tips of the spikes touch your eyebrows. I had to play around with it to find the right pressure so it wasn’t too dark or light.”
One viewer was concerned about potential microblading after-effects.

“Other microblading pens leave a shiny look on your skin so it doesn’t look real. Does this do that?” they asked.
Alyssa revealed that in her experience, the pen left no discernible shine.
“Mine doesn’t! When I wake up in the morning, I just brush my brows and am good to go!” she replied.
Her viewers rushed to try it out for themselves.
