Geena Davis Revealed the Way She’s Heavily ‘Dependent’ on Her Kids & So Many Parents Can Probably Relate

In 2024, new technological advances happen all the time, and even millennials have a hard time keeping up. Geena Davis revealed that she’s quite lost with technology, and because of that, she’s heavily “dependent” on her three kids.

While talking to People at the Big Screen Achievement Awards at CinemaCon 2024, Davis gave super-rare details about her dynamic with her and Reza Jarrahy’s children. She revealed that her kids are her teachers, especially when dealing with technology.

“I learn so much from them. Tragically, I’m technology-dependent on my kids,” she said. “They’re generous with their time and really interested in social issues.” (We love to hear that!)

Honestly, this is so refreshing to hear, especially since we feel like so many parents are ahead of the game with the tech (and make so many rules for their kids with technology)! Don’t worry Davis, so many moms rely on their kids for this, it can be a lot.

While Davis doesn’t have any personal social media accounts, she does have a Twitter and Instagram account for her nonprofit, the Geena Davis Institute, which is all about empowerment and eliminating negative stereotypes in media.

It’s one thing to manage personal accounts, but professional accounts for your organization? That can definitely be super stressful, especially when there’s so much you have to do. (We’re sure she has a team for it, but you never know!)

For those who don’t know, Davis and plastic surgeon Jarrahy were married from 2001 to 2021, and in their marriage, they welcomed three children: a daughter named Alizeh, born April 2002, and twin sons, Kaiis and Kian, born May 2004.
