Katy Perry shined in space-age shiny silver pumps at the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on April 13, 2024 in Los Angeles. Her sleek metallic shoes featured a sculptural shape (along with the rest of her outfit), with a non-traditional approximately three-inch stiletto heel that pointed back instead of sitting horizontally.
The “Teenage Dream” singer is a fan of bold heels, from sky high platforms to strappy sandals and thigh-high boots. At the April 7 taping of “American Idol” in Hawaii, she wore three different pairs of fun, summery heeled sandals: a clear open-toed stiletto with a rhinestone strap, yellow bamboo-heeled Leilei Stretch Sandals from her Katy Perry Collection, and asymmetrical white strappy stilettos. On the April 1 taping, she showcased her penchant for trendy bold boots in thigh-high white mesh stiletto “Atomic” boots by Bottega Veneta.
The Breakthrough Prize Ceremony is dubbed the “Oscars of Science” and celebrates top scientists across the globe. The 2024 event, held at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday, was an absolutely star-studded one.
