Angelina Jolie Walks the Red Carpet in Red Heels for ‘The Outsiders’ Opening Night

For the opening night of The Outsiders, a Broadway musical produced by Angelina Jolie in collaboration with her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, Jolie opted for a bold red sandal heel.

The red heels were discreetly visible, emerging from under the actress’s bronze cape and silky slip dress as Jolie headed to the after party with her son, Pax Jolie-Pitt.

The sandal heels featured a patent leather finish for a glossy appearance and had crisscross straps that framed the toes. These heels contributed an additional 3 to 5 inches to the Oscar winner’s stature and included a rounded point toe.

Jolie’s take on The Outsiders transforms S.E. Hinton’s novel and Francis Ford Coppola’s film into a stage production. This premiere offers an updated perspective on the story, with an emphasis on themes of youth and identity as explored in the original works.

The music for the show is composed by Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance of Jamestown Revival, alongside Tony Award winner Justin Levine. The cast includes Brody Grant as Ponyboy Curtis, Brent Comer as Darrel Curtis, Jason Schmidt as Sodapop “Soda” Curtis, Sky Lakota-Lynch as Johnny Cade, Daryl Tofa as Keith “Two-Bit” Mathews, and Joshua Boone as Dallas “Dally” Winston.
