Taco Bell's CMO eats at the chain every other day. Here's what he always orders.

Even after eight years at Taco Bell, Taylor Montgomery can't get enough of its food.

The chain's CMO sat down with Business Insider at Live Más LIVE, its first-ever superfan convention, and revealed he eats Taco Bell "every other day."

And Montgomery always sticks to the same order.

"Two to three crunchy tacos — not supreme, just regular crunchy tacos," he told BI. "And a bean burrito with extra onions, grilled. You have to try it, it's life-changing."

Montgomery said he also loves the chicken quesadilla and has a special hack to amp up the flavor.

"Double chicken on the quesadilla," he said. "It will change your life."

Meanwhile, Sean Tresvant — who became the new CEO in January — told BI he eats Taco Bell three to four times a week.

There's a Taco Bell in the cafeteria at the chain's headquarters in Irvine, California, and Tresvant frequently visits the top-secret test kitchen to try new items with Liz Matthews, Taco Bell's chief food innovation officer.

Tresvant is also a crunchy taco fan — although he said he always gets his "supreme" style, which features tomatoes and sour cream in addition to cheese, lettuce, and a protein. He always opts for one beef and one chicken taco, as well as a bean burrito.

While their go-to orders may vary, both Montgomery and Tresvant are huge fans of Taco Bell's Cantina chicken menu, which features five new dishes — the Cantina chicken burrito, the Cantina chicken taco (available soft or crispy), the Cantina chicken bowl, and the Cantina chicken quesadilla.

Taco Bell also revealed that a few discontinued items might return this year. It's a smart move by the fast-food giant, which reported an 8% increase in sales after bringing back the Mexican Pizza in 2022, according to CNN.

There's no denying the chain has a uniquely dedicated fan base, which Montgomery credits to Taco Bell's "rebel spirit."

"I think it's about listening to the culture and how we view ourselves," he said. "We're our own thing, and when we set the bar that high and create our own bar, anything is possible."
