Julia Fox Cuts New Look Wearing Silver Pointy Shoes for Knicks Game in New York City
Ahead of April Fool’s Day, Julia Fox opted for a pair of silver pointed-toe pumps as she headed to a basketball game on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden.
Working with longtime stylist Briana Andalore, Fox made a stylish splash like she often does. The star has been preferring the pointed-toe silhouette lately. On Thursday, she attended an awards show in Los Angeles and wore pointed-toe black stiletto boots.
Fox wore the shoes to the New York Knicks game on Sunday night. Her appearance hailed the debut of a cheese-colored hair dye job she had, courtesy of a new semi-permanent hair dye made by Velveeta that she was promoting.

Fox’s footwear was a classic pump with a slightly curved heel. The shoe featured the shape of a pointed toe and was metallic silver. It was worn with a pair of white sheer tights, which is currently a trending style
On Monday night, Jennifer Hudson also wore silver pumps to the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles. Whereas Fox’s were matte, Hudson’s footwear had a glossy finish.
Silver shoe trend
Metallics and chrome have been trending for a few years, with some tracing it back to Beyonce’s “Renaissance” era, which featured a heavy use of silver. But other celebrities and high-fashion brands have made it their own. In 2023, Tory Burch, Prada, Chanel, Gucci, and Jean Paul Gaultier all released their own silver or metallic pumps.

The “Uncut Gems” actress often chooses the unexpected when it comes to clothing. Those choices have landed her a hosting spot on the new show “OMG Fashun,” which launches on May 6 and includes noted “Image Architect” Law Roach. Fox has been spotted wearing unconventional shoes, like a pair of spiked sandals composed of old watches. But she often opts for tall, platform shoes like a pair of eight-inch heelless boots or pointed-toe silhouettes.
