AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department said one person was found dead near the Pennybacker Bridge at Lake Austin over the weekend.
Around 5:46 p.m. Sunday, APD officers responded to 500 Zone Lake Austin for a check welfare call. That's the area under the Loop 360 bridge, according to police.
According to police, this is not being investigated as a homicide.
APD Lake Patrol officers got to the location and found a person dead. No other details were available Monday.
