Vermont State Police were notified of a road rage incident involving a firearm on VT Route 22a in West Haven. Law enforcement says an investigation found Knipes was diving south on VT Route 22a when a car tried to pass her.
WEST HAVEN, Vt. (NEWS10) -- A Benson, Vermont woman was arrested on Sunday and is accused of displaying a gun during a road rage incident the day prior. Cynthia Knipes, 54, is charged with criminal threatening.
Vermont State Police were notified of a road rage incident involving a firearm on VT Route 22a in West Haven. Law enforcement says an investigation found Knipes was diving south on VT Route 22a when a car tried to pass her.
Law enforcement says Knipes tried to block the car, not allowing them to pass. Police sway Knipes then displayed a gun in a threatening manner to the driver and passenger.
Knipes was interviewed and was issued a citation. She's set to return to the Rutland Criminal Division next month.
