Crystal Palace Still Have League One Star On Radar

Peterborough United centre-back Ronnie Edwards has continued to remain a target for Crystal Palace ahead of the summer transfer window, according to the Evening Standard.

 

The 21-year-old defender has been impressive in League One this season and has started each of his side’s 38 league games so far.

 

His performances in the third tier of English football have been attracting the interest from clubs in the Championship and the Premier League.

 

 

Swansea and West Ham tried to sign him last summer and Crystal Palace were keen on him in the winter transfer window.

 

It has been claimed that Edwards has continued to be on Crystal Palace’s radar ahead of the next window.

 

 

The Eagles are set to invest in centre-backs in the summer when Marc Guehi is expected to leave the club.

 

Palace have been scouting several defenders in European leagues and have been forming a shortlist of targets.

 

 

However, Edwards is still an option for Crystal Palace, who are considering trying to sign him in the next window.

 

Peterborough are pushing to get promoted to the Championship and the 21-year-old is a key part of their team.
