In the latest training photos released by Tottenham, academy midfielder Rio Kyerematen was seen training with the first team at Hotspur Way.
With a number of senior players away on international duty this week, it presents Ange Postecoglou with a chance to take a closer look at some of the academy youngsters.
One player that the Australian and his coaching staff have chosen to call up is 18-year-old midfielder Kyerematen, who was pictured on the ball while being closed down by Timo Werner in the latest training photos.
The teenager is quite versatile, having operated in a number of midfielder roles for the youth sides, including as a number six, in a box-to-box role and even as a more advanced midfielder.
Kyerematen has featured quite regularly for the Under-21s this season, having racked up 13 appearances in Premier League 2 so far, and he has also been capped by England at Under-17 and Under-18 levels.
This is not the first time that the young midfielder has been called up to train with the senior squad, having been spotted in first-team training back in October of last year.

While Kyerematen might not make the matchday squad anytime soon, it is a wonderful opportunity for him and the other academy players to catch the eye of Postecoglou before the senior players return from international duty next week.
