Kullu: Holi is the festival of colours celebrated primarily in India and other countries with great fervour and enthusiasm. Thousands of tourists flock to different parts of the country to partake in the colorful festivities.. Ahead of the festival, Himachal Pradesh had a lively celebration on Sunday. Foreign tourists along with locals celebrated Holi by smearing each other with Gulal with dhinchak Bollywood music playing in the background. The tourists grove with locals on peppy Bollywood songs and enjoy the festival.
India’s most colourful festival symbolizes happiness, new beginnings and hope. It is also one of the most important Hindu festivals in the country. The festival of colours marks the end of chilly winter season and is a two-day-long festivity. This year, Holi will be celebrated on March 25, 2024. Holika Dahan, also known as Choti Holi, will be celebrated on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
