A THRIFT store aficionado has struck gold with her fashion find.
Her Goodwill designer discovery was crazy and totally unexpected.
She figured the price she paid for this pair of heels was “insane.”
Luck was on her side because the store employees didn’t know what they had in this star buy.
But Shannon McDade (@shannonmcdade) sure did, and she grabbed them.
This lady has previous form when it comes to preloved designer goods.
On TikTok, she sums herself up as someone who “thrifts.”
In the past, she has found pieces by Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
She knows quality when she sees it, and pounces before anyone else.
In the post, her jaw was almost on the floor when she saw this designer item.
“This was crazy and totally unexpected,” she said.
“Look what I found at Goodwill,” she gushed, holding a pair of silver platform strappy heels.
“YSL heels, $5.29. I’m dead now. I had to walk around the store like I didn’t just find $1k heels for $5,” she said.
YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) is a legendary French fashion house.
Brand new YSL sandals similar to those she found were going for $905.
“I love it when the thrift store workers don’t mark up their good brands,” she said, walking to the checkout.
It was a good day’s thrift shopping.
“So insane for that price,” she added.
Commenters were as wowed by them as she was.
