A FASHIONISTA has shared a genius hack to dry her sky-high heels in the dryer without the risk of potential damage.
People were in awe of the simple trick, even going as far as to say she deserved a Nobel Prize for her smart thinking.
Chloé (@lex.v22) is all about letting “the good times roll,” according to her TikTok bio.
She revealed how she quickly dries her heels in a TikTok video, and people are going wild for it.
The Los Angeles resident added in the caption that she was “just getting ready for brunch” when the idea struck her.
In the quick clip, she filmed her dryer running at full speed while one lone clear heel hung inside.
It was tied on a long white string that was secured firmly by the dryer and weighed down with the other heel to keep it in place.
Chloe joked in a hashtag that she was a #womeninstem because of her quick thinking and other people took note.
STEM is a common abbreviation for four closely connected fields of study – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
“It’s the way you balanced the weight with the other heel too,” a viewer commented about the hack.
Although there are already products that hang on dryer doors on Amazon and some that are specifically made for shoes, Chloe mentioned in a comment that she liked her method more.
She was not a fan of the loud noises that came with having her heels “rummaging around in the dryer.”
Other viewers were impressed and some even had other uses for the trick.
