A BUDGET-FRIENDLY shopper has shared her quick and easy method to make a decor item that also doubles as a makeup organizer.
She recreated a $25 Amazon buy for a fraction of the price using her crafty skills and Dollar Tree vases.
Self-described Bargain Bethany (@bargainbethany) loves all things DIY, especially when it’s on a budget.
She showed viewers how she created a table centerpiece using a popular Dollar Tree vase in an Instagram Reel.
One rectangular flower vase only costs $1.25 at the store and is a fraction of the price for a similar style that costs $25 on Amazon.
“Now I’m mad I didn’t see this before buying the one on Amazon,” a TikTok user admitted in a comment.
Each decor item comes with holes a little bigger than a quarter and a lid that moves back and forth.
She encouraged others to “think outside the box” when crafting their centerpiece.
Bethany filled it with water and stuck yellow roses inside.
For an extra effect, she added small diamond and pearl details and small white flowers with green stems.
Not only does it make a great addition to any dining room, but it could also be a cool beauty buy.
She showed another cute DIY project where she filled the vase with clear crystal dazzlers and stuck makeup brushes in them so they stood upright.
The arts and crafts lover even added that, at the most basic level, they can be stacked and used to organize things around your house.
