Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick’s Rare Photos of Daughter Sosie Prove She’s Her Mom’s Lookalike
It’s no secret that Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s daughter Sosie Bacon is oh-so-talented like them, but it’s so clear that she’s her mom’s lookalike.
On March 16, Sedgwick shared a snapshot of her and Bacon’s daughter Sosie for her 32nd birthday. She shared the snapshot to her Instagram story, which was obtained by Hello Magazine, and posted it with the caption reading, “Happy happy birthday @sosiebacon – may you be surrounded by strange animals forever. Love you.”
In the photo, we see Sosie in an orange jacket, and all-black look underneath, making a silly face at a donkey.
From her highlighted hair to her facial features, it’s so clear that she looks exactly like her mom, specifically when Sedgwick was also in her early thirties. Here’s a comparison photo below:
For those who don’t know, Bacon and Sedgwick have been together for decades, marrying in 1988 after meeting on the set of PBS’ rendition of Lemon Sky. They later welcomed two children named Travis, born in 1989, and Sosie Ruth, born in 1992.
In a previous interview with Good Housekeeping, Sedgwick shared how motherhood isn’t perfect, and even as a mom to adults, it can be hard. “When I was pregnant, my mom said, ‘There are going to be times when you want to throw your kids out of a window, and that’s OK.’ Being a mother is hard. We send women the message that it’s all supposed to be perfect, but it’s not. Believe me, it’s still hard, and my kids are adults,” she said.
