Emiliano On Great Start Against Livingston
“It was a great start” said Emiliano Marcondes as Hibs scored two goals in the opening seven minutes against Livingston.
In the end, the Hibees ran out 3-0 winners in what was a dominant and comfortable victory at Easter Road.
When speaking to Hibs TV after the game, he detailed what the Hibees wanted to do from the very first whistle.
“It was a great start to almost kill the game off early,” said the talented playmaker.
“We had to be focused the rest of the game, but it was a really great start and a solid performance all over.
“It’s always the message to get out there and start strong, especially at home.
“We wanted to start fast and be all over them. We try that every game and today we got an early goal, which gave us confidence and momentum, and got the crowd going as well.
“The third goal was very important. We also wanted a fourth one but we were maybe a bit too comfortable in the second half.
“All in all: a very good performance.”
Hibs now go into the international break in sixth place, with just three games remaining before the split.
“It’s great to go into the break with three points,” he said. “We want to put pressure on the rest of the teams in the top six.”
