I paid $24.82 for a bag with a telling ‘CC logo’ at my thrift store – people say my finds are ‘insane’ and they’d faint
A STYLE enthusiast with a keen eye for a bargain has left other people envious of her designer thrift store finds.
She bought several purses and clothes from luxury fashion houses, but a tote from a French brand stood out from all the other items.
Hailey LaRae (@haileylarae) has garnered over 139,000 followers on TikTok, where she gives a glimpse into her life in Dallas.
She seemed in good spirits as she shared a shopping spree at her local Thrift Giant store.
“I fear we may be down a baddie,” read the text over the screen.
A baby pink purse with the Chanel logo was the first item that caught her attention as she browsed the shop.
She then considered purchasing a pair of white pants with a lace-up crotch priced at less than $10.
The fashionista showed pre-loved purses available to buy from Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, and Gucci at an affordable price.
Arguably the most shocking find was a large tote bag for $24.82 that had what looked like the Chanel logo.
A strikingly similar leather handbag by the French designer is priced at $1,381 at Vestiaire Collective.
The major difference between the purses is the color and thickness of the straps.
Hailey also picked up a tote from Givenchy, a Chanel clutch, and a Victoria’s Secret set.
The price tag on a Louis Vuitton purse was just $8.99, while a similar style from the brand was sold for $933 on Vestiaire Collective.
A Diane Von Furstenberg purse also caught her attention but she didn’t reveal how much she paid for it.
“RIP to whoever these came from,” she said.
The video went viral with over 624,000 views and 114,000 likes.
Many people took to the comment section begging Hailey to reveal which thrift store she visited.
“I would’ve died of a heart attack and we’d be down two baddies,” one person wrote.
