PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Another frontal system is moving through the region Sunday morning, bringing with it plenty of rain and wind from the Oregon Coast to the Cascades.
Speaking of the Cascades, they are picking up more snow at the ski slopes. In fact, most of the bases are now up above 100 inches of snow on the ground. Those are good numbers going into springtime.
Expect more snow in the Cascades Sunday as the front moves through. Late in the afternoon, rain will change to showers.
There is a winter weather advisory in effect until Monday morning above 3,500 feet in the Cascades where they are expecting 6 to 12 inches of snowfall by Monday morning.
