I bought new home decor from Shein but they did me dirty – people say ‘put it in rice,’ I learned the hard way
A SHEIN customer was shocked when her new home decor looked nothing like what she expected.
She couldn’t stop laughing after seeing what the actual home decor piece looked like.
Khensy (@khensy_ledwaba) shared the shopping fail in a TikTok video.
“Shein did me dirty,” she said, clutching her head in shock.
She couldn’t help but laugh, however, as she prepared the big reveal.
“This is what I wanted,” an audio said as she showed off what she thought she was getting.
Khensy pulled up the product image, showing off a large beige graphic rug with black details that rested underneath a grey couch.
“This is what I got,” she laughed.
She revealed that what she actually received missed the mark.
Khensy showed off a beige piece of fabric that resembled a mini version of the full-sized rug in the photo.
The real thing wasn’t even large enough to lay underneath her couch.
Some attempted to offer solutions to her problem.
“Put it in rice,” joked one commenter.
Others gave her advice on how she could avoid the mistake next time.
“Always check the reviews,” offered one well-intentioned commenter.
“Learned the hard way,” Kensy replied.
