She said the hack is so easy to do and with a few sprays of an Amazon item it lasts for months.

She shared an Instagram Reel of an easy trick that she wished she knew sooner.
It is great for parents who have had enough of their children “wearing their shoes out within a few months.”
The tip also works for people who are simply “tired” of their shoes getting ruined due to water and other weather-related hazards.
The solution to those problems can be found on Amazon for less than $20.
April demonstrated this firsthand by holding a Ugg boot in one hand and spraying it with the Crep Protect Shoe Protector Spray, $16.
She repeated the process with a tan and off-white Nike sneaker.
It repels water, oil, and stains to keep your shoes looking and feeling fresh.
The budget buy works with a variety of fabrics and materials associated with leather, nubuck, suede, and canvas.
According to the mom, all you need are two coats and you’re good to go.
“Let them dry ten minutes in between each coat,” she recommended.
“Then after 20 minutes, they’re good to go. Waterproof and stain-proof.”
To show how effective it was, she held the Ugg boot under a running faucet and it wasn’t affected.
