Classic car graveyard is home to more than 70 ancient Ford Model Ts – anyone can visit but the owner is a mystery

A GRAVEYARD of dozens of rusting iconic cars was spotted on the side of a busy road.

A collection of Ford Model Ts – one of the most iconic cars in American history – span a large grass field and received a visit from a YouTuber.

“This place is called the Model T graveyard,” the YouTuber (@urbexandbrokenthings4806) said in a video.

“It’s a private collection of supposedly 70 [to] 80 Model Ts that this guy has had her for forever.”

Ford’s Model T was initially produced in 1908.

The classic car is considered the first American mass-produced vehicle.

Model T’s have entered the annals of American engineering and transportation, earning its reputation as an accessible car because of its simple, innocuous design.

The Model T initially sold for $260 and $850, according to Ford’s website.

The two-seat, four-cylinder car had few available variations.

The simplicity made it one of the cheapest cars on the American market in the early 1900s and forced other manufacturers to cut costs and introduce assembly lines in their factories.

Walking around a tree-lined, chain-link fence, the YouTuber films dozens of stacked Ford Model Ts in a grass field.

“Unfortunately, they look like they’re in various stages of beyond repair,” he said.

Rusted bodies of the iconic vehicle have flowers growing through their cravaces.

A group of cars sit close to the fence with no wheels, roofs, or engines.

Other car part piles have rusted-out wheels, chassis, and axles.

“I can just imagine these are all just paper thin,” the YouTuber suggests.

“These old car bodies were stamped pretty thin when they were new.”

GRAVEYARD GEMS

Several other car collection finders posted classic car graveyards on social media.

Another YouTuber found a junkyard with hundreds of rows of classic, broken-down American muscle cars, sports cars, and luxury vehicles lined the grounds.

“This place is also known as Junk town USA,” the YouTuber explained in the video’s description.

“I love coming here to snoop around this Junkyard.”

Another car enthusiast found a barn full of discontinued vehicles.

The barn had several makes and models, including a Porsche, classic American Chevrolet models, and a Pontiac GTO.
