DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) -- Tucci's, an upscale steak and seafood restaurant in Dublin, is now welcoming guests inside its $2.5 million expansion that transformed the eatery's patio into a four-season dining room.
The historic Dublin restaurant at 35 N. High St. opened the renovation on Feb. 22, giving patrons a first look at the sunroom that features four skylights and 10-foot-high windows. With the opening, the 26-year-old restaurant also resumed daily lunch service from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday with a new menu.
"For the past year, we’ve been planning and are now turning the space into a permanent, four-season experience," Tucci's said when it announced the renovation in June last year. "Our plans will allow us to keep the open and breezy attitude of the patio we love while making the space a fine dining experience to remember."
The four-season room, where the 10-foot-high windows will open during warmer months, includes a new water fountain and indoor landscaping with palm trees surrounded by banquette seating. Tucci's also increased accommodations in the rear private dining area and quadrupled the size of its wine cellar.
Other enhanced amenities include two appointed restrooms accessible from the four-season room and the sunroom's own HVAC system.
Tucci's opened in 1998 and is one of two concepts operated by CLB Restaurants along with Matt the Miller's Tavern, a casual restaurant known for its pub fare and happy hour. CLB, which also owns a Tucci's in Carmel, Indiana, downsized to one Matt the Miller's in central Ohio last month after opting not to renew the lease at the tavern's Polaris location.
Restaurateur Craig Barnum founded CLB in 2011 after he split off from a previous restaurant group with partners Mike Tibbetts and Jack Eggspuehler. Tibbetts and Eggspuehler retained ownership of Oscar's Restaurant and Bar in Dublin which closed in January after more than 30 years of business.
Tucci's is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Happy hour is 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
