A HUGE A-list Hollywood star has announced his first UK concert dates in seven years – just days after unveiling a very new look.
A clean shaven Russell Crowe, 59, has revealed he is taking his band on the road, and it will include TWO stops in England.
The talented star has become known for his singing ability over the years, and has released several albums.
Together with his band Indoor Garden Party, they will take their show on the road this summer.
Starting at Rome’s Colosseum, they will then hit London‘s Shephard’s Bush Empire on July 24, followed by Leeds‘ Brudenell Social Club the following evening.
Speaking about the show, Russell said: “There’s an attitude about this band. It’s got a groove.
“We do a lot of story songs, but we also know we are here to blow out the cobwebs and give the audience a good night.”
Fans can get tickets from this Friday (March 8) via Ticketmaster.
The news comes just days after Russell revealed he had “shaved for the first time in five years”.
In a post shared to X, formerly Twitter, the Gladiator star showed off his clean shaven face with a selfie.
He captioned the post with: “The actor prepares #20. First shave since 2019.£
Many fans complimented the Les Miserables actor on his fresh faced appearance, with one person who said: “20 years younger instantly!”
While another said: “Wow, you look 20 years younger!”
“20 years younger instantly!” another user agreed.
This fan said: “Looks good! It’s nice to change it up and shave.”
In his post, the actor suggested he shaved his famous beard off because he is in preparation for a new movie role.
The New Zealand born star has enjoyed a hugely successful career since Gladiator – arguably the role that made his career.
It could have been very different, as Mel Gibson was offered the part first, but turned it down.
Russell has since won a string of awards including a Bafta, Golden Globes, and a Screen Actor’s Guild gong.
His most successful movies include A Beautiful Mind, American Gangster and Les Miserables, where he surprised many with his singing abilities.
Between 1999 and 2001 he received three consecutive Best Actor nominations at the Oscars, winning for Gladiator.
