Well, how about the two mixed together? Foodies have been going wild after spotting M&S selling the perfect alternative to the standard Easter egg – and it’s ideal for biscuit lovers.
In a clip shared to TikTok (@_heidimurphy_), an excited shopper named Heidi Murphy posted a snap of the M&S ‘Extremely Chocolatey Biscuity Easter Egg,’ which retails at £10.
She urged: “Run don’t walk to M&S.”
Removing it from the box, she could then be seen holding up the chocolatey treat, before smashing it to reveal the biscuity goodness inside.
Heidi captioned the video: “Omg!!”
It wasn’t long before the post went viral, garnering a whopping 347k views and several comments from foodies up and down the country, who were all eager to try it out for themselves.
“It’s not a want but a need,” wrote one.
A second tagged a friend and penned: “We need to try this.”
A third commented: “Ooooh that’s DEFINITELY not for sharing!”
And one more simply added: “Need.”
Elsewhere, the chocolatey treat, which is also available to buy on Ocado, has been flooded with five-star reviews from happy customers who have already taste-tested it – and given it a firm seal of approval.
“Extremely Yummy,” praised one.
“I hesitated to buy this because I thought it was a bit expensive, but it was worth every penny.
“The chocolate was thick and chunky in parts and there was lots of it. The family loved it and I would definitely buy it again. Great Easter treat.”
Another branded it a “fun alternative to an Easter egg” and added: “This was a delicious and fun sharing desert.
“It is not huge but the chocolate is rich and the biscuit pieces crunchy.
“It was thoroughly enjoyed by all and was an easily transported pudding for our family picnic.”
