My ‘mayhem’ method clears the icicles off my snowy Wisconsin roof in seconds – it’s just a bit of Midwest fun
A REALTOR has shared his effective, albeit slightly chaotic, method for clearing the snow off his roof.
He managed to have fun with the chore, taking just seconds to complete the task.
Yura (@uraniumentertainment) shared the cleaning trick in a TikTok video.
“How to get rid of icicles on your roof in the winter,” he said.
Yura panned over the large, threatening icicles hanging off his roof in Wisconsin.
The homeowner wasn’t discouraged, however, as he had a few tricks up his sleeve.
Dressed in a pink suit, aviator glasses, and clutching a Nerf gun, he seemed more than up for the challenge.
“Let’s do this,” he said confidently.
“Mayhem vs. Icicles. AKA Midwest fun.”
Holding up the NERF gun to his line of vision, Yura took his first shot.
He aimed straight for the pillars of ice, shooting at the icicles without taking any breathers.
One, two, three, four rounds, he aimed for the ice, relentless in his pursuit of a clean roof.
Multiple re-loads later, the shooting pro rushed over to check if his efforts proved successful.
A quick glance at his roof earned him the answer he was looking for.
Although it was still a bit icy, his roof no longer housed the large icicles and Yura was a happy man.
“No more icicles, than you NERF Cannon,” he said.
