Data shows Spurs are one of the hardest-hit clubs with injuries this season

According to data from Premier Injuries , Tottenham Hotspur are one of the worst-hit sides in the Premier League this season when it comes to injuries.

Almost all of Tottenham’s key players have spent a decent chunk of time on the treatment table this season.

The November and December period was particularly challenging, with almost a full team of players, many of whom are guaranteed starters, all sidelined at the same time.

While the situation has since improved considerably, Spurs are still without the likes of Pedro Porro, Manor Solomon, Ryan Sessegonon and Fraser Forster at the moment, with Richarlison being the latest to be added to that list.

Tottenham have had a number of injury issues this season

According to Premier Injuries, Tottenham rank near the top of the table when it comes to the total number and duration of injury absentees this season.

It is revealed that Newcastle United have been the worst hit in the Premier League, with the Magpies players missing a total of 1,333 days combined since the start of the campaign. 

Eddie Howe’s men have had players sidelined on 29 separate occasions and they are followed closely by Spurs and Chelsea, who have had 27 separate injuries across 2023-24.

The cumulative number of injuries and days does not even paint a fully clear picture as it does not show the importance of the players that each of these sides have been missing.

Tottenham have lost almost every single one of their first-team squad to lengthy injuries over the course of the season.
