I’m not a good sleeper and it shows in my under-eyes – my makeup method disguises them & doesn’t cake into your wrinkles
A MAKEUP guru didn’t snooze on her makeover method which made it appear as if she was getting plenty of beauty sleep.
Her transformative results masked her wrinkles and woke up a more youthful under-eye look.
She was also ready to impart her wisdom for getting rid of wrinkles to a fan who wanted her to spill the beauty beans.
“Your question is what do I recommend for black under eyes,” said Carole Rees (@carolerees).
She knew all too well what it meant to desire a brighter eye look.
“Now as you can see I’ve got very, very dark eyes. I’m not a very good sleeper and it shows,” she said.
Her first tip for those over 40 included hydrating the area with a primer setting followed by an illuminated primer that gives skin “a bit of a glow.”
“It’s very important that you prep your skin first,” she said.
Carole then recommended using just a small amount of a thin concealer in the inner corner as well as on the outer edge of the eye area which she demonstrated herself.
“Very little under the eye because otherwise when you’ve got aging skin, and we’ve got those wrinkles and fine lines under the eye, it’s going to accentuate it,” she said.
She then used a fluffy brush to blend everything out.
“Now as you can see, that hasn’t caked into the fine lines and wrinkles,” she said.
Using just a very light layer seemed to do the turning back-the-clock trick as she showed off the eye-popping results.
“But look at the difference in my eyes. What an amazing transformation,” she said.
