Jesse Palmer just highlighted the stinky side of parenting, and, well, it checks out! The Golden Bachelor host just posted a funny new photo, and it sums up parenting perfectly.
In the picture, Palmer is holding his 1-month-old daughter Ella in a baby carrier while out on a neighborhood stroll. (AKA, pretty much the only time you leave the house during maternity/paternity leave.) As Ella appears to sleep soundly snuggled up to her dad’s chest, Palmer’s dog is popping a squat on the grass. It turns out, the pup wasn’t the only one pooping!
“My whole squad is pooping ???? #Literally #Family #DadLife #Dad,” he captioned the funny picture. Apparently Ella is going at it too — but hopefully Palmer wasn’t counting himself in this.
“I was hoping 2 out of 3…” one person hilariously commented. “Yep, double duty, ASAP!! ????????,” another person wrote.
“That’s awesome … multi-tasking dad mode activated ????????,” someone else said. And the most honest comment: “???? happens!” So true, especially as a parent.
The Bachelor alum and former football player welcomed his daughter in January with wife Emely Fardo. They announced the birth in a joint Instagram post with a selfie of the family of three.
“Our worlds have been forever changed… She’s finally here…” he wrote. “ELLA REINE PALMER ???? Our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude…”
In an interview with E! News, he called parenting “magical” so far (even with all the poop!). “It has been magical,” Palmer said. “Every single moment with Ella and with Emely have been so precious and amazing. I don’t know where the four weeks have gone.” Aww!
He said that changing diapers and feeding his baby girl makes him “feel so accomplished.” He added, “Certainly as a father who doesn’t have any sisters or any nieces, there’s a lot of question marks. But when you’re in those moments, it’s the most rewarding experience. Like changing her diaper? I feel like I just threw a 25-yard touchdown pass.”
Which is good because babies (and dogs!) produce a lot of stinky moments.
These celebrity dads have the sweetest bonds with their daughters.
