I’m ditching mascara in 2024 – my $6 hack keeps my lashes looking luscious, long, and curled all day
A PODCAST host makes no qualms about saying goodbye to mascara this year.
She said her trick will have your lashes looking fabulous all day long, and it won’t cost you more than $6.
TikToker Jules (@trulyjules) said her hack is “so effortless and easy.”
Her key to long, voluminous lashes is Aquaphor, a healing ointment that is traditionally used on dry or irritated skin, and costs $6.29 at Target.
Jules, however, has been able to throw away her mascara and replace it with the skin protectant.
“We are ditching mascara for Aquaphor in 2024,” she said. “If you want your lashes curled all day do this little hack.”
“You just get a little bit of Aquaphor rub it a little on your hands and apply a coat all over your lashes,” Jules explained.
“Then after coating, curl them how you usually would … You can even use a lash comb to separate your lashes,” she added.
Jules promised that your lashes will look great for hours.
“I swear this trick will keep your lashes curled all day and have them looking luscious and long,” the TikToker said.
The hack is super simple.
“That’s literally it. That’s all you have to do,” Jules said.
“Your lashes look so great and the curl holds so well with Aquaphor,” she continued. “I love this tip so much.”
People in the comments section on Jules’ page were excited to try her suggestion.
