OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - An Oklahoma City animal rescue is seeking help for seven puppies saved from a fire on Thursday.
According to Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society, the puppies were originally found in a box near a convenience store before being taken in by an unhoused person. That person bottle fed the pups and kept them sheltered in the building.
Officials say that the building caught fire Thursday morning and three of the puppies did not survive, but the seven remaining need help.
"They are a tiny 2 lbs each and just 4 weeks old. They have experienced smoke inhalation and smell AWFUL. They shows signs of being malnourished and some have bites/sores all over them. One shows signs of trauma. These precious pups need medical care." said Mutt Misfits on Facebook.
