Royal Wootton Bassett Town fell to a rare, heavy home defeat as Worcester Raiders triumphed 4-0 to exact emphatic revenge for their earlier season loss at the Sixways Stadium.
Jade Ferron proved the difference between the teams as he scored a hat trick and also provided an assist. The Raiders' dangerman slotted between the legs of Rob Brown with his first just before the break before producing a similar goal for his second shortly after the restart.
Bassett had previously had the best chance of an evenly contested opening period when a powerful Jowan Partridge drive was batted away by Thomas Hayward in the Raiders goal.
But the visitors got in front as half time neared and quickly moved into control of the match following the interval.
They were unfortunate not to go further ahead on the hour when a double chance saw Vanylson Silva come close with a near post effort and Zaq Hussain volley over from the edge of the box as Bassett failed to clear.
Ferron eventually added a third, driving forward before rounding Brown and slotting into the net.
Ferron then turned creator for his team's fourth, teeing up Oliver Taylor Bradley with two minutes of the ninety left.
While a heavy defeat and disappointing setback, Bassett do remain firmly in control of their destiny as they target a Hellenic League Premier Division playoff place. Their credentials will face a serious test though over the final six games - not least in the next two fixtures which see home derbies against second place Corsham Town and fourth place Fairford Town.
