State Police located felony-weight narcotics inside the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the driver had an active arrest warrant from the Troy City Court.
EASTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police arrested two individuals on drug charges following a traffic stop on State Route 29 on February 16. Roland Brathwaite, 34, of Troy, and James M. Brennan, 21, of Greenwich, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Police say Brathwaite had an active arrest warrant from the Troy City Court and did not possess a valid driver's license. Felony-weight narcotics were located inside the vehicle. After arraignment, Brathwaite was remanded to the Washington County Correctional Facility without bail, and Brennan was released on his own recognizance.
