BUYING a house can be expensive these days, so many people are thinking outside the box to find affordable homes.
One woman shared how she lives full-time in a touring caravan with her partner and puppy – and saves money while travelling the UK.
Louise, who posts under @l.ouisewilson3, said in a clip: “Me and my boyfriend live in this touring caravan with our puppy Toffee.
“We’ve been getting a lot of questions as to where we park our caravan, where is it sited.
“In short, we are travelling around different caravan sites.
“People have said this can be very expensive but if you are finding the right ones there are some great priced ones available.
“Yes some are on the higher end but we are going to do these as a treat for ourselves when we want to.”
Louise shared how she manages to live in the caravan and still earn money.
She revealed: “Me and my boyfriend both still work full time so do have a good income coming in.”
However, it hasn’t been completely easy living on the road.
She shared: “As much as we love our little caravan this life is taking some adjusting to but we wouldn’t change it for the world.”
Her video has racked up over 400 likes, and people were quick to praise her adventurous and money-saving lifestyle.
One said: “brilliant that love to live like that, freedom, stay safe.”
Another said: “How lovely.”
However, others pointed out it would be “too small and cramped” for them.
Louise isn’t the only person switching up living in a home for a caravan to save cash.
A frugal couple revealed how they made the move – and it enables them to eat out and go on holiday with the extra cash.

However, the couple insist the benefits outweigh the negatives.
The man explained: “For us it’s part of a much bigger plan, which is allowing us to save money a lot quicker and we’ve just bought a bus which we are converting.
“We are able to do that and go on holiday and eat out quite a lot, live a pretty good lifestyle considering the economy.”
