Hello Friends,
Not happening. Wind’s been blowing SSE-ESE since 1730 yesterday and as of 0700 was 11-14 kts. It should swing E-NE this afternoon. Swell’s still mainly dead south and 1.5 metres at 8 seconds apart. Weather is set to be cloudy all day with a 30% chance of a light shower.
Tomorrow might possibly be ok for the early session at places with good south exposure. But don’t expect much above the thigh-high mark. As for the rest of the week, I’m hoping the swell models are unduly pessimistic. If they have it right, we could be waiting until next Monday for our next south pulse (currently looking like being accompanied with south wind and cloudy skies).
On the bright side, we’re getting closer to the magic days of autumn…
Go well and stay happy!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea will become slow moving on Tuesday causing winds to gradually tend north to northeasterly. Then a cold front is forecast to pass to the south midweek, bringing another southerly wind change during the latter part of the week before the second cold front brushes the state’s east on Sunday, with a surge of strong southerly winds in the wake.
Forecast for Tuesday until midnight
