London: Virat Kohli has been out of action in the ongoing Test series versus England due to the birth of his second child, but that has not affected the side as Rohit Sharma-led India to victory in the fourth Test at Ranchi to seal the series 3-1 with a game still to go. The former India captain is still in London with his wife after the birth of his son, Akaay. Kohli was spotted at a restaurant in London on Monday with his daughter. The two seemed to be having lunch. The picture of the two has surfaced on social space and has gone viral.

“Having some daddy-daughter time while mummy and baby brother gets to bond. But whoever took pic shouldn’t have sneaked like so,” commented a Reddit user. “She looks such a big girl and that ponytail. That’s so cute and endearing. I am just imagining a junior version of Anushka doing her thing,” read a comment. “Aww. Virat on daddy duties with cutie-pie,” said another person.

Meanwhile, Kohli took to X after a long break to congratulate the side which had defeated England at Ranchi by five wickets.

“YES!!! Phenomenal series win by our young team. Showed grit, determination and resilience,” Kohli tweeted.

Reports suggest that Kohli is likely to miss the fifth and final Test at Dharamsala. He should get back in action during the IPL.
