It’s the gift that keeps on giving: The Fanatics and Nike MLB pants are very much see-through, which means there are photos everywhere of players with their tucked-in jerseys showing through white pants.
So who’s responsible for this?
If you’re a fan of Seinfeld and it’s many sports moments, then the answer is: George Costanza, the assistant to the traveling secretary for the New York Yankees who — in Season 6’s “The Chaperone” — changed the team’s uniforms from polyester to cotton, with some … not so great results (see the highlights below).
