SAVE $90: As of Feb. 26, Amazon's Fire Max 11 tablet — the brand's biggest and baddest tablet yet — is on sale for just $139.99 at Woot. That's a savings of 39% and its lowest price to date.
It's no secret that we love iPads, but when it comes to tablets, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. And those fish tend to come with much more affordable price tags.
Amazon's Fire Max 11 is the brand's closest iPad competitor to date, or as Mashable's reviewer put it, it's "the bougie-on-a-budget tablet we’ve been waiting for" (read our full review of the tablet). Better yet, it's on sale for its lowest price ever. As of Feb. 26, you can pick up the Fire Max 11 for only $139.99 at Woot — that's 39% in savings and $10 cheaper than its previous all-time low. The deal is only around for the next seven days or until it sells out, so we'd advise jumping on it ASAP.
What makes the Fire Max 11 so iPad-y? It has a crisp 11-inch display, making it the biggest Fire tablet to date, plus 8MP cameras that support 1080p video, an upgraded octa-core processor, and WiFi 6 compatibility. The model on sale comes with 64GB of storage space, but if you need more, it's expandable up to 1TB with a micro-SD card. Its 14-hour battery life also crushes most iPads. The only real downfall is the limited app selection in the Amazon Appstore, which may or may not be a dealbreaker for you depending on your primary usage.
Regardless of the app situation, our reviewer gave the Fire Max 11 a Mashable Choice Award and we dubbed it our favorite budget tablet. And at just shy of $140, it's a mere fraction of the cost of a new iPad.
