He was stunned when he came across Glow cube wax melts by Allswell.
“This wax from Walmart smells exactly like Baccarat Rouge,” he said.
“I was absolutely astounded when I smelled it,” the TikToker continued. “Smells so, so good.”
The wax melt “provides a fragrance with notes of warm vanilla and juicy pear blended with fresh creamy coconut,” Walmart’s website says.
It has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars, from 58 reviews.
People on TikTok agreed that Allswell’s Glow smelled similar to Baccarat’s Rouge 540.
“I agree bought the candle twice,” one person said.
“You are absolutely right. I went back and got the candle and room spray,” a second wrote.
“I can confirm it. It truly smells exactly like Baccarat,” a third posted.
Rouge 540, which was created in 2014 by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, has notes of jasmine, saffron, cedarwood, and ambergris.
It has become a “cult scent,” according to Wallpaper.com.
“It’s powerful without being heavy,” Kurkdjian told the outlet.
“It’s sweet, there is a yumminess, but it’s not sickening,” he added.
