A DIY fan has created a Pottery Barn dreamy faux greenery design but for a fraction of their asking price.
The upscale home furnishing store wanted $129 for their leafy display.
But Hayley Jones (@meandmrjones) figured she could make something similar and save a fistful of dollars.
She DIYed her very own using accessories from Target and Amazon.
This talented lady is no stranger to similar projects.
Her TikTok account is dedicated to “home décor tips, Amazon finds, and DIYs.”
She put all her skills to the test in this post when she decided to copy a Pottery Barn decoration.
“These lit branches from Pottery Barn are dreamy but $129? No way,” she said.
Hayley was certain she could get the same look for a whole lot cheaper.
“Let’s make a Pottery Barn dupe,” she said.
The Pre-Lit Faux Juniper Branch from Pottery Barn was $129.
So she headed to Target for some stems, and Amazon for lights.
This was the look she was aspiring to from Pottery Barn[/caption]“The Amazon lit branches are so pretty even just by themselves,” she said.
As she pulled her look together, she begged viewers to stay with her.
It was going to look worse before it got better.
“This is a real trust-the-process situation,” she wrote.
“It does not look good until you start twisting the lit branches around each stem.
“By doing this you can also make the stem stand up a little bit better,” she added.
It didn’t take long to pull this Pottery Barn dupe together, and there was little to tell it apart from its pricier version.
“Look at that. Two lit stems at $129, or all of this for $65,” she said triumphantly.
“Looks so good,” said one person.
“I’m obsessed,” wrote a second.
“I believed in you all along,” added a third.
