A CLEANING enthusiast was shocked when she learned how to make more soap come out of her scrubbing brush.
Although she was pleasantly surprised by the cleaning hack, it proved to be controversial with her viewers.
Kassandra (@kcdeighan) shared what she learned in a TikTok video.
She reacted to a woman’s video demonstration unveiling the method.
“You guys! I am just amazed! All these years I’ve used this and haven’t known about this!” she said.
The woman held up her well-loved cleaning brush, worn with years of use.
She pinched the brush and pulled out a round piece in the center, revealing the secret to letting soap out of the home tool.
Kassandra couldn’t help but check out her own cleaning brush to satiate her curiosity.
In her kitchen, she pulled out the sponge cork in her brush, to her disbelief.
She was incredulous at finding the sponge hack now, despite years of cleaning.
“Today years old,” she admitted.
Although the discovery was revolutionary to her, people had mixed reactions in the comments.
Some thought the trick might just change how they clean.
“No wonder mine doesn’t work,” said one commenter.
“Immediately walks into the kitchen and pulled mine out. I’m shocked. Bamboozled. Shook,” said another.
Some didn’t think the hack was all it was cracked up to be.
“True that but you go through soap so much quicker,” said one viewer.
