The Austin Police Department released new details regarding a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in east Austin.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department released new details regarding a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in east Austin.
APD said officers responded to a single motorcycle crash at approximately 6 a.m. Feb. 16 in the 10300 block of Giles Lane
Police said the motorcyclist, later identified as 34-year-old Tyler J. Jelke, died at the scene.
APD said the incident was being investigated as Austin's ninth fatal crash of 2024.
