Sergio Reguilon may finally have his career back on track, as his loan move to Brentford appears to be going well. His displays have not gone unnoticed by the Spanish press, with a belief that the full-back may well have found his new home with the Bees.
After a difficult couple of years, during which time Sergio Reguilon has spent time away from Tottenham and suffered through injuries, brighter days may be coming.
The Spaniard spent the first half of this season on loan at Manchester United, covering for the injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia. In 12 appearances for the Red Devils (Transfermarkt), Reguilon impressed the fanbase and began to rebuild his reputation.
However, United decided to end his loan spell after six months, and Reguilon swiftly joined Brentford until the end of the season.
Already, in just five appearances for the Premier League outfit, Reguilon has shown his quality, and even bagged an assist in the recent win over Wolves.
In a new report from Spanish outlet AS, Reguilon has received praise for his recent performances and there is a suggestion that the future is bright for the 27-year-old moving forward, whether that lies with Brentford or not.
It is said the defender is now “more relevant” after difficult times, and has made himself an “essential” part of Thomas Frank’s setup at Brentford.
The report adds that Reguilon “seems to have found his place” at the club, and that there is a chance he could end up there permanently.

It’s good to see Reguilon doing well again. Hopefully he can keep this kind of form up, and stay fit, and secure a permanent move to a club, like Brentford, who will offer him the regular football he deserves and needs to stay on track.
