SAINSBURY’S are killing it yet again – with shoppers in a frenzy over a “comfy and flattering” outfit that’s almost completely sold out.
Earlier this week fashionistas hailed the supermarket for releasing the “dress of spring” for just £25.
And now, they’re frantically racing to their nearest store to check the rail’s for a £26 striped co-ord.
The outfit is made up from a £14 ribbed midi skirt and matching £12 boxy top, both in a black and white stripe.
Trying it on in a size 22, plus-sized fashionista Poppy Adams (@poppyadams92) gushed: “Sorry, but bury me in this TU Clothing co-ord.”
She added: “I kinda love this. The second I saw it, I knew I would.
“All ribbed material, and I love a rib. It’s super, super soft as well and so comfortable.
“Of course you can wear these two pieces separately so you’ll get lots of wear out of these items. I love.”
Other shoppers revealed they raced to the store to pick up the co-ord after spotting Poppy wearing it.
“You thoroughly influenced me into buying this co-ord when I saw your first try on video”, admitted one.
“It looks so gorgeous on you, and it genuinely is the comfiest s*** I’ve ever worn.”
A second wrote: “I ran to Sainsbury’s immediately after seeing the haul where you showed this and I wear this LOADS.
“Not something I would normally buy but feel very confident in it actually!! Thought it would make me feel bigger but it doesn’t!”
Meanwhile, a third wrote: “I bought this too and I’ve never felt better in an outfit.”
But some fashion fans haven’t been so lucky, with none left in their local stores.
One said: “That co-ord is one of those mythical TU beauts. I’ve never found it in stock.”
Another echoed: “I can’t find the co-ord. I have a STRONG need.”
Someone else added: “I’m fuming I never ordered it at the time. I’ve been searching everywhere else for something similar but nothing’s quite right.”
And a fourth chimed in: “I need that co ord, going to look for it tomorrow.”
The skirt has proven so popular on the website, that it appears to have sold out with an error message showing on the Sainsbury’s website in its place.
But keen shoppers can still get their hands on the matching top, still available online in most sizes.
Describing it on the website, Sainsbury’s bosses said: “A classic style that’s not going anywhere, everyone needs a mono stripe style t-shirt in their wardrobe.
“In a boxy oversized fit it has a crew neckline wirh short sleeves. (Matching coord skirt available).”
