Andy Cohen had the cutest visitor on set of Watch What Happens Live! this week: his 4-year-old son Ben! The show host shared the sweetest photo of him and Ben to commemorate the special moment.
“Had a visitor at work ♥️ (????: @charlessykes),” the Bravo TV host captioned the photo on Instagram. Cohen is dressed in a gray suit as he hugs Ben from his blue chair. Ben wore a gray t-shirt for the visit, and he hugs his dad with his head buried in his dad’s neck. It’s such a sweet picture, we know Cohen won’t forget it anytime soon!
People shared their love for this picture in the comments. “I still remember visiting my Dad at work♥️He will never forget this. So special to have this moment captured. You’re a great Dad Andy♥️♥️♥️,” one person wrote.
“This is the sweetest ????❤️????????????,” someone else wrote. Another commented, “The best hugs in the world ❤❤❤❤.”
Ben has visited his dad at work before, and one time he brought his friend Wyatt, now 3. Anderson Cooper shared an adorable photo of his son Wyatt, who he shares with Benjamin Maisani, and Ben sitting on chairs on set of Watch What Happens Live! in April 2022. “Wyatt dropped by Ben’s show the other day. From the looks of it he wasn’t sure what to make of it,” he captioned the adorable picture, with the two boys just smiling at each other.
Cohen, who is also dad to daughter Lucy, 2, encourages his son to hang out with Wyatt. “We are these geriatric patients hobbling around chasing our children, but look — it’s another bonding thing,” the Bravo TV host said about his friendship with Cooper on the Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast. “I think what is going to be really interesting to us, as it develops, is being gay dads and as our kids start realizing more and more ‘Oh I have gay dads.’”
“I am so glad that Ben [Cohen] will grow up with Wyatt [Cooper] and that Ben with grow up seeing Anderson and Benjamin [Maisani] raising Wyatt and Sebastian,” he continued, adding that he feels relief when Ben wants to visit Wyatt.
“Would you rather go to Wyatt Cooper’s house and play or would you rather have a play date with like X friend of yours from school?” Cohen recalled asking Ben during his podcast appearance. “And he was like, ‘Mmm, I would rather go to Wyatt Coopers.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, thank god.’ And then I was like, Andy, you don’t need to be pitting Ben’s friends against each other.”
From a guy whose used to managing drama between Housewives, we totally understand why Cohen would encourage his son to be friends with his bestie’s son. There’s just going to be less drama all-around.
These celebrity kids want to follow in their parents’ footsteps.
