Tesla owner reveals hidden button that ‘unlocks secret feature’ to make driving sleek EV easy
A TESLA driver has revealed a hidden trick that requires motorists to use their voice.
A driver uploaded the clip on TikTok showing the cool feature hidden on the steering wheel.
The TikToker said: “Let me show you a quick trick.”
He then shows the usual way Tesla drivers open their glove compartment by pressing buttons on the infotainment screen.
However, owners of the popular electric car will be surprised to find there is an easier way to do this.
The driver revealed a hidden button on the steering wheel which enables voice command.
He explained: “All you have to do is tap this button once and say this command – open glove box.”
The Tesla Model Y is almost the same as the Model 3 but is said to be larger with more room in the interior, according to WhatCar.

A vital addition to Tesla’s features is their Dog and Camp modes which have been essential for Anhika’s travels.
She said: “Tesla has a Dog mode which keeps the cabin at a desired temperature and locks all the windows.
“Camp mode keeps the heat on while I sleep.”
Teslas are not the only cars that have secret features.
This motor whizz revealed a hidden button in most cars that can help drivers who are locked out of their vehicles.
The woman took to TikTok to share the small button located inside the door handle that can open the car door if the keys stop working.
In the video, she said: “The car key is out of power and the door cannot be opened, pop out the mechanical key, aim at the small hole under the door handle, pry open and find the lock.
“Put the key in and turn it, the car door opened.”
Other tips the woman shared online included how to adjust mirrors so they are at their most effective and how to reverse safely.
