FINDING a jacket to get you through the harsh winter temperatures is a must.
However, after her massive PrettyLittleThing haul arrived, one fashionista, Katie Roe, was in for a big disappointment.
According to the trendy style lover, she had ordered several items from the popular fast fashion retailer – but it all quickly went downhill when she tried the goodies on.
One of the wardrobe essentials the blonde stunner had decided to bag was Sage Khaki Statement Pocket Pull Over Puffer Coat, which looked incredibly stylish – and cosy – on the website.
Unfortunately for Katie, whilst the PLT model pulled off the casual streetwear-inspired outfit, the reality looked nothing like the advertisement online.
After putting on the £48 jacket, which runs in sizes XS to XL, the fashionista was mortified – and in fact the fit was so off, she quickly noted that this was ”the worst thing” of all the items from the disastrous haul.
Awkwardly posing in front of the camera, the disappointed customer said: ”Look at me. What am I?
”I look like a snowman that’s green,” said Katie, who reckoned the colour was also giving major ”Christmas tree” vibes.
Other items of the ”absolute fail” of a haul included a pair of light-wash flared jeans Katie was ”struggling” to jump into, as ”the size 14 was not a size fourteening”, as well as a teeny dress she couldn’t even get over her head.
The pink package also included another pair of jeans with a green effect and a tiny mini skirt, which was too ”see-through” for Katie’s preference.
The only thing that the stunner ended up keeping in her wardrobe was a stylish leather-look biker jacket in a gorgeous burgundy shade .
”I don’t understand why companies find it so difficult to just understand sizing.
”Really, I shouldn’t have to go through the struggle.”
Sharing her thoughts on shopping online, Katie said it ”gets depressing”.
”I find it’s the same with Urban [Outfitters] too.”
Dozens of fellow fashionistas flocked to comments – and it’s not just Katie who struggled with fashion online.
One said: ”Girl, I’m normally a 8-10 but have to get a 14 I. PLT jeans… the sizes are SOOOO badddd.”
Someone else chimed in: ”I’m a size 12-14, 10 in some things and a PLT 12 does not fit me.”
”PLT jeans have the worst sizing!” a third penned.
”Only place I buy jeans from is cider there sizing is really good!”
